Victoria Memorial Hall

This historic marble structure in Kolkata was built to honour Queen Victoria, the erstwhile queen of England and British India. This masterpiece was constructed between 1906 and 1921. Today, it is one of the best tourist spots in Kolkata and a great site to hang out with friends and family. The building also houses a museum with an awesome collection of British and Indian history.

New Market

The iconic New Market or Sir Stuart Hogg Market, located opposite our hotel, was established for the English populace of Calcutta with a lot of fanfare on January 1, 1874. What started as the first municipal market of Kolkata has become a must-visit tourist attraction for a unique shopping experience. For over a century, millions of visitors have relished Nahoum’s rich fruit cake, its brownies, marzipan, macaroons, and more. The market has over 2,000 stalls that sell everything from clothing and electronics to crockery, accessories, flowers, and different food items and spices.

Park Street

A famous thoroughfare in the City of Kolkata, this street runs through what was once the deer park of Sir Elijah Impey, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in Calcutta from 1773 to 1789. It is also known as Mother Teresa Sarani, a name given by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation in honour of Mother Teresa. Park Street is a popular social hub in the city, lined with numerous pubs and restaurants. Several major landmarks are located on or near Park Street, including the Asiatic Society, St. Xavier's College, South Park Street Cemetery, and The Park Hotel.

Eden Garden

Built in 1864, Eden Garden is the largest cricket stadium in India and the third-largest in the world. It is the home ground of the Bengal cricket team and the IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders. The stadium currently has a capacity of 68,000 spectators.
